Why we watch

As a book author, I’m not supposed to ever say anything good about television.  Books are good.  Television is bad.  End of story.
But I won’t say that.  Because I’ve spent a good part of the last week planted in front of the television.  The Olympics are on, and man, I love the Olympics.
