I read your memoir (Jesus, My Father, the CIA and Me) today and loved every word. You quote my favorite authors and spiritual mentors and express so precisely so many of our “kidhoods.” I had to pause and write a thank-you to my sixth grade band director.

However, I think you should know that I almost missed this because of the nature of the publisher and one of the quotes on the back by a guy I went to seminary with years ago but don’t even recognize now in his books. As you might imagine, you can’t be female clergy and very evangelical, and I’ve felt pretty bashed by some things out of this publishing house.
