On a semi-regular basis, I run into someone who believes The Necrnomicon (and Sutter Kain and the Book of Countless Sorrows) is real instead of fiction. It happened weekly when I worked at the book store. Some kid would trundle into the shop and tell me he was looking for a copy of the dreaded tome.
