Just stuck old Duffy Doodlebug in the tub.  He is losing muscle mass and a bit of weight.  There is a marked physical difference between him and the younger guys.  He has been with us 7 years now and just turned 12.  Cannot believe how the years have gone by.  I remember adopting his funny 5-year-old self so well.  So glad to have made his last 7 years happy ones.  Wish we had 7 more with him.  Although he just had a good annual check up, these guys leave us way to soon.  Every single one of them.  Even Charles who we had til almost age 16.  Sigh.  Dog lifespan – the only thing I would correct (read, extend) if I had the power!
