Random.org picks a winner, future give-aways, and what I did this weekend

I meant to pick a winner yesterday, but I was busy at my oldest daughter's wedding reception. It was held at the Chateau De Vie.  A big thanks to my friend, Shelly Goodman, for letting me have it there.  And by the way, the Chateau goes on sale on Monday, so if you want to live in the most beautiful mansion in Chandler, contact your Realtor.

Anyway, I'm getting back to real life today and I conferred with Random.org.  This time, Random picked Haley S.  So Haley, send me your address at jrallisonfans at yahoo dot com and I'll send you the ARC.  Hope you like it!

The rest of my followers--don't despair, I'm going to be giving a ton of books away in August. You're bound to win one.  Like I've done for the past few books, before Erasing Time's release, I'll do eleven or twelve days of giving away a book a day on each blog.

Okay, now that that's out of the way, here are a couple more pictures of my beautiful daughter in the beautiful Chateau. Did I mention there are actual secret passages in this mansion. I sooo wish I had secret passages in my house.
Oh, and I also want indoor balconies.  The Chateau has three.

Here is actual proof that I was at the event.  It is probably the only picture of me that will make it through the delete process, as I look horrible in all the rest.

And here is a picture of the smaller library room. (There's also a huge, huge one.) I totally have library envy.

These are the wonderful, awesome women who donated their time decorating, cooking, and making sure the table stayed stocked.  Because of them, I got to enjoy the evening. Thanks so much!

Starting tomorrow, it's back to work on the sequel to Slayers . . . which is due, um, Wednesday.

Janette Actually, I do have a picture of the big, two story library at http://janette-rallison.blogspot.com/...

It's such an awesome building/

Gouri Krishna HO oooo... OMG.
I don't know what to say. That is a cool place. It must be an awesome experience to live there. Even for a day. The library rocks. It would be great to live there and read books at night when everything is silent and the room is softly lit. With the smell of books and wood in the air..

The indoor balconies are great too. Reminds me of Romeo and Juliet, somehow. The place would look great if lit by candles. Now I feel like i want to visit the place. Will you post more pictures. Maybe of the grounds. My instinct tells me it has a rose garden with a swing. :)

Janette If you go to my facebook page and look at my profile pictures, there's one of me standing on a quaint little bridge that goes over the stream that runs to the lake. Outside is indeed gorgeous as well.
