Support Your Local… (Bookstore)
Collected Works
Collected Works Bookstore and Coffee Bar in Ottawa hosted my first book signing on July 26 and it was a smash success. Thanks to everybody who came out in person and those who sent good karma. You all rock!!
Chapters may ruke the world of Canadian bookselling but local bookstores like CW will always be an important community resource for both authors and readers. If you have an independent book store in your community please visit them and help support them as they promote local writers and community events. Without your active support you may lose them just like my home town of St, John’s, NL which no longer has any locally owned or operated book stores. Since 1990 over 500 independent bookstores have closed in Canada. Use them or lose them!!

Toronto Star Watch Sunday July 29
Jack Batten the mystery and crime book reviewer for the Toronto Star will be doing a short review of The Walker on the Cape this Sunday, July 29, 2012. I am nervous and excited to hear what the esteemed Mr. Batten has to say. Also Don Graves, the longtime fiction book reviewer for the Hamilton Spectator has requested a copy of the book for his review. Stay tuned!!
