Charlene applied more makeup – yes, she looked eighteen now. She imagined Dirk’s approval when finally meeting him.

She approached the secret rendezvous spot, when rusty van doors opened revealing a filthy, fat couple stinking of booze and sweat. Charlene realized too late as the trap ensnared her, what Dirk’s promise of a different life meant.
