Keep your "fanpages" on Facebook safe!!

I have watched over the course of the past few weeks an alarming trend occurring on Facebook regarding fan pages and groups. "Hackers" are somehow getting onto pages and into groups and then deleting the actual owners, replacing said owners with themselves and their cohorts. This behavior is sickening. I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish with this behavior, but they should be warned and I hope that's what this post will serve as just that: A Warning.
As an Author, an "indie" Author at that- I am lucky enough to be a part of a very large community of other Authors, Book Bloggers, Review pages, etc...We are in fact a very tight knit group. We will protect each other using any means necessary. We work hard on and for our fan pages, and to see someone insert themselves into and onto our pages and begin trying to tear down the hard work that has taken us months and in some cases years to build is disheartening to say the least.
Take every precaution that you possibly can! But, in the event that one of these trolls get hold of another page...know this- We will find you. We will stop you, and we will publicize everything!
Instead of trying to destroy something good, put your effort into something of your own and make it GOOD!
