Do you ever get upset when a character you've written for and fallen in love with gets re-written or written in away you don't necessarily like by another writer?

Yes, it happens all the time. Even when some writers have the best of intentions, if you let a character into your heart, even if you didn’t create that character, it hurts to see them with someone else’s voice.

I know I should be grown up about it, but it’s difficult sometimes.

The reverse is when someone does a GREAT job with your characters, that’s a happy, happy day.

Also, I have messed up with other people’s characters sometimes and you just feel guilty FOREVER.
