CBS Sunday Morning book pick!

I was rescuing an imaginary puppy from a tree when my phone started ringing. And ringing. I took a break from my rescue mission, leaving the puppy's fate in the capable hands on my young son, and checked my phone.

I'm not sure I've stopped smiling since.

The CBS Sunday Morning show aired a segment featuring bestselling author Jennifer Weiner today - and she listed her five summer reading picks. THESE GIRLS was the first book she mentioned!

I've watched the clip about ten times now, mostly to convince myself this actually happened and I didn't just dream it up.

The imaginary puppy (who made it through his ordeal just fine) and I are both thrilled with the way our mornings turned out.
