There's been a lot of negative stories on Goodreads lately about authors behaving badly, and reacting unprofessionally to negative reviews. As an author I've had my share of bad reviews over the years, and while it can, of course, be hurtful, I think the only response is to accept them and move on: it's never acceptable to turn that into a personal attack. If you can't accept that not everyone will like your work, you shouldn't be putting it into the public arena.
With that in mind, as a blogger myself, I've put together some tips on dealing with book bloggers. I'm also including a link to Caroline Goldsmith's blog, to get a industry perspective on it. I'd love to hear any bloggers' views.
