It’s my birthday!!!  So, here’s six sentences from a shortie that was a BLAST to write.

Mia slammed on her brakes, inches from the teen who darted in front of her SUV. She gripped the steering wheel tightly, burying the urge to scream at the girl to put some clothes on and stop playing in traffic. Didn’t they teach kids anything in school these days?

The thought made her freeze. Holy shit. She’d turned into her mother. Damn.
