First Five Friday – Clans of Kalquor 6: Alien Redemption (WIP)

Scene 1
           Rachel’s vision was filled with the stunning visage of Dr. Conyod as he leaned close to her.  He was a complicated man and the number of expressions his face held at once bore that out:  confidence, pleading, hopefulness, patience, and determination.            His words, spoken in her language of English, were accented but spoken perfectly.  “You can do it, Ray-Ray.  Just one word.”
