DAP IS NOT PAP, LIM KIT SIANG IS NOT LEE KUAN YEW

There is truth in the denial by DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang (Sin Chew Daily News 3 July), that he has never been an Information secretary to Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew as claimed by  Awang Selamat in his weekly column in Mingguan Malaysia.
However, Lim Kit Siang  cannot deny that he is an incarnation of Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) in DAP which inherits the fight for the Malaysian Malaysia left by PAP and Lee Kuan Yew.Unfortunately, Kit Siang, in fighting for Malaysian Malaysia, has failed to adapt his party with the political situation after the separation and continues to harp on Chinese racism and socialism which LKY attempted to adopt to win the support of the Chinese and Malays.
Kit Siang fails to read that LKY wanted to ride the lion to go up as was done to the Singaporean Chinese.LKY is not a Chinese chauvinist. His real name is Henry Lee. He succeeded in “colonizing” the Singaporean Chinese by burying the Chinese racism which was the backbone of communism in Singapore in the 50s and 60s.
The Chinese capitalist  and English were in favour of LKY abolishing the Chinese language, closing the Chinese schools and universities (Nanyang and Ngee An), besides closing the Malay and Tamil schools, but the worst affected was institutions of Chinese education in Singapore.
A few Chinese leaders from Malaysia who attempted to defend it were shamed by LKY in a Singapore TV programme. They were nervous and ran home.
As a result of  that, the Tamil newspaper perished in Singapore and the Chinese themselves are ashamed to read the Chinese newspapers in Singapore.
Although there are now efforts to revive the use of Mandarin in Singapore, but due to the current globalisation, Singapore will not be left behind by not doing so. It is impossible for it to allow the reopening of Chinese schools in Singapore.
The nurturing of the 'Singaporean' spirit to an extent that the Singapore Chinese are not happy with migrants from the People’s Republic of China who do not behave like 'Singaporeans' and the Malaysian Chinese have problems to adapt to the Singapore Chinese.
In this case, we can see the hypocrisy of the Malaysian Chinese in fighting for the Chinese language and schools in Malaysia, but sent their children to Singapore to be “colonized” by Lee Kuan Yew.
It was only a sweet talk by Lim Kit Siang in accepting the Malay Language as the National Language, compared with the socialists from the  English Speaking Intelegentia (ESI) in Singapore in the 50s who comprised the various races (Malay, Chinese and Indian) who wanted Malay Language to be made the medium of instruction, besides English, from primary school. The attitude of the DAP supporters towards the Malay Language is clearly insincere. Recently, a DAP assemblyman only carried a banner in Mandarin and English into the Melaka State Assembly. The Malay language was purposely left out and Mandarin was placed above the English language. Is this Lim Kit Siang’s teaching? Actually, DAP wants a similar status for Malay, English and Mandarin in the country.

Lim Kit Siang tried to point fingers at Datuk Seri Najib as being responsible for corrupt parctises, which according to him was worse than during the previous two prime ministers. He might be right in the sense that under the previous prime ministers there was no corruption among the opposition, but now, the opposition government in Selangor and the DAP members themselves are involved in corruption, to an extent that some committed suicide. This is why Kit Siang feels worse.
Lee Kuan Yew will not be theatrical like Kit Siang if his own party members are involved with corruption. DAP is not clean. DAP is on cohort with a dirty party, the DAP members are involved in scandals, in fact there are doubts  in the behaviour of Lim Kit Siang’s son who is now the Penang Chief Minister.
In Singapore, history has recorded a minister committing suicide on suspicion of being involved in corruption, but in Malaysia, Lim Kit Siang defends his party members and also his allies who are corrupt and immoral.Working with Parti Keadilan, keeping silence over the Party Keadilan assemblywoman who is involved in a scandal and is willing to be led by a lusty man. Kit Siang is capable of thinking if Singapore will tolerate with such people.
For Kit Siang’s information, a former Utusan Melayu journalist, who was a parliamentary secretary of a ministry in Singapore in the 60s was sacked after it was found out that he went to a massage parlour during a visit to Kuala Lumpur with his friends in Utusan.
Lim Kit Siang should stop from dreaming that he or his son is Lee Kuan Yew, Lim Kit Siang is not Kuan Yew, not a socialist, Kit Siang is not a moral guardian, DAP is not PAP which succeeded in inculcating moral values among the Singapore people and created 'Singaporean' Singapore.
Lim Kit Siang is a Chinese chauvinist who is equivalent to a Malay chauvinist. No need to point fingers at others to cover own mistakes,, look at yourself in the mirror.
