Dim sum in Arizona

Captain's Log, Stardate 01.04.2009

Happy New Year! We went to Arizona for Christmas to visit family.

We went to dim sum with my husband's relatives while we were in Arizona. I love Chinese dim sum--it's yummy! Here's some pictures:

Here's the spread, although we did get several other dishes after this picture was taken, too, so there was even more food! I have to admit I don't really know what most of this stuff is, just that it tasted good.

Michelle Hey, we did that before in Phoenix and none of the servers knew what we were asking because they spoke only Chinese. Plus the menu was all in Chinese so we just pointed and hoped it was something we'd like. Never did find out what a few of those thingees we ate were. The place we ate at was on 35th Ave and I think Camelback. It's been years so I don't know if it's still there.

Camy I have no idea where this place was, but apparently the cooks are transferred from some other restaurant, making this food better than it used to be. Also, all our waiters spoke broken English and we ordered in English, although I don't know if they would have been able to answer us if we asked what something was. LOL
