What happy news to wake up to! Once Burned hit several bestseller lists in its first week out, namely:
# 5 on the New York Times Mass Market Fiction.
# 10 on the New York Times Ebook Fiction.
# 15 on the New York Times Hardcover and Paperback Fiction (Hardcover, Trade, and Mass Market paperback formats combined).
# 10 on the New York Times Combined Print and Ebook Fiction (Hardcover, Trade, Mass Market, and Ebook sales combined).
# 17 on the USA Today bestseller list.

On a related “Yay!” note, the ebook novella Magic Dreams by BFF Ilona Andrews is #122 on the USA Today list. Magic Dreams was previously published in a print anthology, so it is kicking butt on its digital re-release (but with a story about a ferocious werejaguar falling for a vegetarian weretiger, how could it not? ;-).

I loved it... couldn't put it down!!! Once Burned introduced me to the Night Huntress series (which I am sad to say, I had never heard of until then) - I am now addicted to Cat and Bones and have already read the first 4 books in the series -- your books are amazing and I can't wait until the next Night Huntress and Prince of Night books are published
Loved the book. It was sitting "pre-purchased" on my nook screen for TOO LONG! I read it way too quick, and am sad I am done with it. Love Vlad, loved the book (gave it a great review) and love the whole series :) :) YEAHHH!

Congrats...I am just finishing Night Huntress books then will start. Honestly though you should mentally move yours up three notches on lists that have that over-hyped 50... trilogy thing tying up the top 3.

I have read all of your books and yet Once Burned has totally stolen my heart. The world building for Vlads home and the way you protayed his arrogance didnt make me hate him at all. Instead I was jelouse :-) Cant wait for the next one!
