I need your help...

with a remodeling quandary.

This summer I took on the task of redoing my stairs. There are some local internal HOA rules that I have to abide by, so in doing my stairs I learned that my treads needed to be carpeted! So no hardwood for me.

I am still in the middle of completing the tiles on the risers and then doing the wall moldings.




I found these lovely carpet treads for the steps and I am having a hard time in deciding whether to keep things neutral or to liven things up a bit.
