The agenda of the European Parliament for this week has just been adopted without any incidents.
The will be a debate on ACTA on Tuesday, and the deciding vote on Wednesday.
We had received information that there was a risk that the big Conservative group EPP would try to get ACTA off the agenda by raising a point of order today, but this did not happen.
We don’t know why they didn’t try, but it is possible that the attention the issue got over the weekend helped avert their attempt.
