A. SAMAD SAID IS DRAFTING THE EDUCATION POLICY

Pakatan Rakyat leader Anwar Ibrahim has yet to respond to the call by MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek for clarification on the Pakatan Rakyat’s plan for the future of Chinese education in the country.
Dr. Chua said that it was unfair for Anwar to not respond, with him having made the call three times and that it would raise doubts among the people.
Dr. Chua reiterated his question: How many Chinese primary schools and Independent Chinese Schools would be built by Pakatan Rakyat and would Pakatan Rakyat recognize the Unified Examination Cetificate from Independent Chinese Schools?
NOTE:  The late response by Anwar could probably be because he is considering giving an answer which is acceptable not by the general public, but one which can convince a few of his fanatic writers and laureate, including a few in Dewan Bahasa, who are being used to maintain his popularity among writers.
National Laureate A.Samad Said is very angry with Tun Mahathir because Tun wants Science and Mathematics be taught in English.
Perhaps Samad Said is thinking and drafting a new education policy which will satisfy the Chinese community without upsetting the feelings of the Malays. Anwar is waiting for a solution through a poetry from him.
