Today is my brother Dean's birthday.

For those of you who don't know, Dean -- wheelchair, warped sense of humor and all -- is the model for Tommy Donnelly, one of my characters in the Tabor Heights, Ohio series.

So happy birthday to the best, and weirdest, and funnest (yes, it IS a word, at least today) brother I ever had!
