Deadly 777 - Deadly Descent

I can’t believe I’m doing this (Thanks so much PJ!). Normally, I don't do the whole tagging, posting, etc type things, BUT, I adore PJ and since I'm out of ideas for my blog at the moment, this works out well. So, I’m supposed to post seven lines from my current WIP’s page seven and then tag seven other authors to do the same. I may have included a few more lines, but it would have ended in an awkward spot otherwise. This is for my newest supernatural horror, DEADLY DESCENT.

"That's weird." John murmured.
She moved closer. "What is?" She asked.
"Some of the lights on the lower deck look to be out. I've never seen that happen before." He began.
"Maybe they are done for the night?"
John shifted in his seat. "No, those lights are always on. The scientists work in shifts, from what I've been told." He answered. "The only level where lights can be off is the sleeping quarters."He lifted the com mic and flipped a few buttons. "Titan this is Orphus, do you read me?" John leaned closer to the control panel. "Titan this is Orphus, are you there?"
Silence.
Tori watched as he flicked a few more switches, changing channels from what she could tell. He was nervous. It was impossible to miss. Unfortunately, his nervousness was rubbing off on her and she began to wonder what they were entering into. Should they wait? It was an option, but going back up would take time. If something had happened in the lab, they needed to see if they could help.

There you go. This will hopefully be releasing by Sept/Oct of 2012. Think of Doom meets 28 Weeks Later with a bit of Resident Evil tossed into the mix. :)

Now it's my turn to tag some buddies. Here you go guys. Janus Gangi, Nancy Lee Parish, Skhye Moncrief, Kristina Jackson, Nickie Storey, Penelope Crowe and Donna Dillon. Sorry guys!!
