Wow or whoa.. I didn't think that someone would think like that. As for you Ms. Rallison, me and your other fans are here to support you enough that you won't think of doing something like that. But, I am SO excited for your next book!!!! I haven't read time travel or even dystopian books so far. BTW, I like crazy writers! Coz, I believe they have more intricate thinking skills that well, to the point of craziness, I just hope they use it in a good purpose. More powers to your next books!

Let's think about this for a second. My first thought was: remember playing Barbie? We (maybe I?) used to have made-up conservations. But then maybe that's not the best example. My family tells me I'm crazy and I'm not an author. Example #2. Sorry, I've got nothing. But speaking of liking crazy athors: Stephen King. Who would want to meet him in the light of day let along a dark, creepy alley at night?
Ha-so true. I wouldn't want to meet Stephen King in a dark alley unless he was there to tell me how to become a really successful author.

I'm glad that shooting myself isn't necessary. Hope you like Erasing Time!
That is crazy! I hadn't heard about that author and I will refrain from looking him up since I think he shouldn't get more notice for being that insane. Did you notice I said insane? I think most of us are crazy, but rational beings, but obviously a few are insane. :) And really, Janette, how would you come up with all those hilarious situations your characters get themselves into unless you were a little crazy. ;) I wish my craziness was as productive as yours. Already pre-ordered Erasing Time - can't wait! When is the next Slayers out?
Time travel dystopia sounds right up my alley. Is this book being published under Jannette Rallison or under another name? What other names do you publish under. Thanks.By the way - Dr Who had a TARDIS! And it's red, not grey. We still have the odd red iconic phone booth here in New Zealand just for old time's sake.
Do you really want me to snap a photo and send it to you?
There's one right by the seaside 5 mins drive from WETA workshop - where Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit were produced, along with King Kong, Avatar etc...
Let me know if you're keen.

Thanks.I thought I'd respond in case Janette doesn't get back to you. She publishes her more paranormal/sci-fi books under C.J. Hill. Slayers was her first under that pen name and Erasing Time is the second. :)

Erasing Time is a CJ Hill book (which means basically it is more of an adventure than a romantic comedy) but it's not the sequel to Slayers. I'm writing that book right now--(meaning that I have 320 pages done but I'm endlessly rewriting the beginning trying to find ways to get the back story in without it sounding like I'm just info dumping.)
It is due to my publisher Sept 1, but I'm not sure when the release day is. Hope you like it.
It did sound like I was saying it was the second book to Slayers, huh? Well, since I like all your books (and own all I think but two), I'm sure that I'll like it. I'm excited for them all to come out! It seems like there are some really great books out there being published, but out of those only a few are enjoyable and clean enough that I feel I can recommend them to others and buy them myself to be on my shelves, so thank you!

Yes, I remember in the old series the phone booth was red, they've done a new series and now it's blue--although I doubt there are many phone booths around at all now that everyone has cell phones so I'm not sure why they made the switch. It's nice to know there's still a red one around though. They should always keep it for the Dr. Who fans.
