It is a pleasure to be among so many that enjoy the written word. And to around so many who are willing to participate and assist.
My writing journey has been a mash of crossroads and frustration as I searched for my style and my voice.
I am an architect, a technical artist, and it wasn’t until I had been (semi) retired for four years that I found a path to my goal.
My youngest daughter has been proofing for me, and one day she offered an author I never would have chosen on my own: Victoria Schwab. I read “The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue”, and the path was clearly defined.
Up until that point, my favorite writer was Pat Conroy (still is a favorite), but Victoria writes like she’s sitting across the table, your drinking coffee and eating pastries, and she’s telling the story.
I have upgraded two older novels (already on Amazon) and my new works reflect this change, and the reviews indicate I made a good choice.
