Project Midas ~Fall Update~

Hell readers! I only do news updates when there is, well, news. And since the release of Blessings of the Damned in May there hasn’t been much need to release an update. Well, I’ve been hard at work on the next book, tentatively titled ‘Project Midas’, and I think I’ve made enough progress to share some news about it with you.

Project Midas is a full length science-fantasy novel and I’ve finally finished the second draft. It’s in the hands of the first beta reader. I don’t like writing plot summaries unless I have too, so maybe I’ll share more about the plot later. This will be the next book I release.

I was going to just continue writing Blessings of the Damned series, and I will. But Midas has been a project I’ve been laboring over for several years and creatively I can’t move on until I release it.

About the release. It has always been a dream of mine to be traditionally published but that dream just isn’t a possibility anymore. The modern publishing landscape is clearly not something I fit into. While I may submit this novel to a handful of publications or agents, I wont hold my breath. I think a more likely situation would be that I crowdfund a version of the novel. But if neither of those options work out, I will simply do as I have always done and self-publish.
