The nature of reality.

The Nature of Reality: A Consciousness-Created Universe
By Dr. Debasish Mridha, MD
Abstract
Reality, as understood through the lens of the Universal Energy Theory of Consciousness (UETC), is not a static or objective construct independent of the observer. It is a living, dynamic field of energy shaped by consciousness itself. In this framework, consciousness is not a by-product of the brain but a universal energy field that interconnects all existence. Through the vibration of thoughts, emotions, and intentions, consciousness shapes perception, and perception, in turn, defines reality. Thus, to transform the world we experience, we must first transform the energy within ourselves.
1. Consciousness as the Foundation of Reality
Dr. Mridha’s view begins with the recognition that consciousness is energy, and energy is the essence of all existence. Every particle of the cosmos—animate or inanimate—contains an element of consciousness. This energy is the informational essence that gives rise to perception, interaction, and creation.
In his formulation, consciousness (C) arises from the interaction between inherent information (I) and the flow of interactive energy (FE), expressed as:
C = I · FE
This equation suggests that the universe itself is conscious, and reality is the visible expression of that conscious energy interacting within itself. Thus, what we perceive as “reality” is an energetic manifestation of the interplay between information and energy, orchestrated by the universal field of consciousness.
2. Interconnectedness: The Web of Being
Reality, in this view, is a unified field of energy. Every being, every atom, and every thought vibrates within this cosmic continuum. Separation is an illusion of perception; in truth, all entities exist as interdependent expressions of the same universal consciousness.
“The ocean of existence is one, though it appears as countless waves of separate beings.”
This interconnectedness forms the moral and spiritual foundation of compassion, empathy, and love. When one realizes that harming another is equivalent to harming oneself, kindness becomes not just a virtue but a natural law of harmony.
3. The Creative Power of Thought and Emotion
Thoughts and emotions are vibrational expressions of consciousness. Each thought carries a frequency that interacts with the surrounding energetic field. Positive thoughts such as love, gratitude, and kindness resonate at higher frequencies, creating harmony, peace, and joy. Conversely, negative emotions such as anger or fear resonate at lower frequencies, creating distortion, suffering, and disharmony.
“When we change our thoughts, we change our reality. When we change our perceptions, we open the door to boundless peace and joy.”
Reality, therefore, mirrors the inner state of the observer. The world we experience is a reflection of the energy we emit into the universal field.
4. Transformation Through Inner Awareness
According to Dr. Mridha, reality is not to be fought but understood. Struggling against external circumstances is futile because all external conditions are projections of the inner energetic state. To alter reality, one must change the flow and quality of consciousness within.
“Peace is not found in the world—it is found in your perception of it.”
Personal transformation—through mindfulness, love, forgiveness, and gratitude—raises one’s energetic vibration, aligning the individual with higher dimensions of harmony. When inner transformation occurs, the outer world correspondingly shifts.
5. Spirituality as Inner Reality
In Mridha’s philosophy, spirituality is not confined to religion or ritual. It is the direct perception of the divine essence within oneself—the realization that the ultimate reality lies not outside but within the mind and heart.
“Spirituality is not seeking God in temples but discovering the divinity within the temple of your heart.”
Spiritual awakening, therefore, is the recognition that one’s inner consciousness and the universal consciousness are one and the same. This realization dissolves fear, fosters unconditional love, and transforms one’s experience of reality into a state of enduring peace.
6. Reality as a Living Reflection of Consciousness
From this holistic perspective, reality is consciousness made visible. It is not fixed, but fluid; not imposed, but co-created. Every individual participates in shaping the world through their energetic resonance. The universe listens to the vibration of our being.
When love becomes the dominant frequency, reality itself begins to echo that love. The ultimate truth, therefore, is not that we live in the universe—but that the universe lives through us, as consciousness experiencing itself.
Conclusion
Dr. Debasish Mridha’s conception of reality redefines the boundaries between science and spirituality. His Universal Energy Theory of Consciousness situates human perception within the broader cosmic continuum of energy and information. In this view, to understand reality is to understand consciousness, and to evolve consciousness is to transform reality itself.
“Reality is not what we see; it is what we feel, think, and believe. The outer world is the reflection of our inner universe.”
