The Message Countdown has begun

I released the book trailer for The Message today, with a target release date of November 22, 2025—more on the date at the end.

For those who have followed me, The Message has been a bane...not that I didn't like it; I do. It was one of my favorite books I have written, and possibly my most exciting. It has been the journey - written over two years ago, when my son was 7, it took two years to clean it up and get it ready for publication. I didn't feel like I was dragging my feet; perhaps it was just the sheer size, as it's the largest book I have written. After finishing the book with my son, I added more material and adjusted the age group to 12+. It is a teen novel, but adults will enjoy it too. I may even have a split over this because of the material I cover.

Why did I choose 11-22-25 as the release date? My Dad was in our local theater on that date in '63 when the movie stopped and an announcement was made, "Kennedy has just been shot..."...I don't think word had been received by that time that he was, in fact, dead. The theater shut down, and the moviegoers aimlessly walked the streets, lost.

The Message has loose ties to this date - it is the story of a girl on a High School STEM tour, who, during an explosion, gets separated from her classmates and meets a dying man who gives her a message she can only share with the President. Once she is reunited with her classmates by strange circumstances, four of them go on a globetrotting mission to get the message to the President. In the end, it comes down to a showdown in Dallas, but the journey to get there is one wild ride.

And without further ado, here is the release trailer:
