Shabbat Shalom before Yom Kippur
Shana Tova, and Shabbat Shalom. Dry Bones Golden Oldies in the fond memory of Yaakov Kirschen (Dry Bones). Brought to you by Sali, the LSW. Hoping for a better New Year. Yom Kippur starts Wednesday night. Wishing that our hostages will be relaeased and our soldiers will be safe.
It seems a more subdued atmosphere in Israel this High Holiday season. It is probably because of the war and the hostages. The rain started for a bit yesterday, right on time for the season. It always moves me, how perfectly attuned the Jewish holidays are to the weather and seasons here in Israel. We are still having our daily Houthi missle attacks. The UN is there to remind us of any wrongs, just as this cartoon suggests. This cartoon was done in 2000.
