Surrounded and Surrendered\n

Face it, we are a mess. Yes, you and I are major malfunctions, and we will be until we get home to glory. As messed up as we are, God calls us His people and sends us into the darkest places of this crazy world with a mandate to surround evil and change things for good. We are to save people from an eternity in hell.\n

First, He surrounds us with goodness to lead us.\n

\u201cTeach me to do your will; for you are my God; your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.\u201d Psalms 143:10\n

After He leads us by His goodness, we are followed by His goodness.\n

\u201cSurely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.\u201d\u00a0 Psalms 23:6\n

Not only is He in the midst of us with His goodness, He is before us and behind us as well!\n

\u201cThen your light will break forth like dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.\u201d Isaiah 58:8\n

The battle is for the eternal souls of men and women. The risks and the rewards are worth it.","hover":"\nWhich Wolf Do You Feed?\n

Jesus-driven thinking helps and heals. This is what the Bible has to say on the subject: For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. \u2013 Romans 8:6\n

The Cherokee nation knew it, too. Check out this spot-on tribal tale:\n

An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life. He told the boy, \u201cA terrible fight is going on inside me. It is a fight between two wolves. One wolf is evil. He is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and self-doubt.\"\n

The old man continued: \u201cThe other wolf is good. He is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.\u201d He then told the boy, \u201cThis same fight is going on inside you and inside every other person, too.\u201d\n

The grandson thought about it for a minute, then asked his grandfather, \u201cWhich wolf will win?\u201d The wise old chief replied, \u201cThe one you feed.\u201d\n

What wolf have you been feeding? Just know the wolf of evil thoughts will eventually devour you, and likely others as well. Thoughts become actions, and there is always collateral damage.\n

I willingly step out of my comfort zone and into the battle for souls for the Kingdom. I know the Lord is with me and is working behind the scenes to prepare the hearts of those He is bringing to me. He sent believers to help me find Him; I want to be used like that.
