Capcom Details Its TGS 2025 Online Program (Is There Still Hope?)
As we discussed previously, Capcom is holding a TGS presentation on September 24 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.
That’s pretty much all we knew before, but now they’ve gone into some more detail.
The TGS 2025 Capcom Online Special Program will last 40 minutes and feature Pragmata, the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection (which was announced in the Japanese Nintendo Direct), Street Fighter 6, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Monster Hunter Stories 3.
It will specifically not include new updates on Resident Evil Requiem.
So, where does that leave us regarding Ace Attorney hopes?
The most discouraging part is that it does not say “and more,” “and other updates,” or any variation on that. There’s no indication that there will be new announcements at this showcase.
On the other hand, Capcom sometimes specifically says a showcase won’t include new announcements, and they haven’t done that here either. They’ve only specifically de-confirmed Requiem’s presence. That means there’s still a chance that in between focusing on the already-announced games, they could toss in a surprise announcement or two.
So yes, even though this isn’t the most encouraging news, I’m still hopeful that TGS will give us the news we’ve been waiting for. And if I’m wrong… well, at least I’m looking forward to learning more about some of the other games on their list.
What do you think we’ll see at Capcom’s TGS show?
