Posting called on account of… everything.

Well, mostly it was because of a malfunctioning smoke alarm. We had to take it out into the open air before we could be certain that it was just broke, and not detecting invisible smoke*. Fun! …And very, very distracting. How was your day?

*Of course I obsessively checked the house for any sign of fire. One of the reasons why my schedule is so messed up now.
