Today I have put together a photo slideshow/memorial from all three 9-11 memorials. This video is not monetised. It has been made for educational uses only.
On September 11, 2001, the United States experienced a major terrorist attack: Four commercial airplanes were hijacked by 19 terrorists associated with the extremist group al-Qaeda. Two planes were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, causing both towers to collapse. A third plane hit the Pentagon (U.S. Department of Defense) near Washington, D.C. The fourth plane, United Flight 93, was headed for another target in Washington but crashed in a field in Pennsylvania after passengers attempted to overpower the hijackers. Nearly three thousand people were killed, making it the deadliest terrorist attack in world history. The event led to widespread changes in global security policies and was the catalyst for the U.S.-led War on Terror, including wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
