With the press of a few buttons, Richard verified his partner’s report and took hold of the yoke with one hand while gripping a small lever in the other. “Affirmative. Initiating anti-grav thrust.”

The swell of power made the ship hum as it lifted from the ground, it’s anti-grav engines pushing against the planet’s gravity well to gain altitude. It saved fuel and was less stressful on the ship, so long as it had a gravity source to push against.
