We begin with a wide array ofcharacters on a luxury cruise line ship. One of the passengers was the reveredLady Em, who was in possession of Cleopatra’s necklace.
“Whoever takes this necklace tosea will never live to reach the shore.”
Included on the passenger list areWilly and Alvirah Meehan, the lotter winners. Several people seemed to alreadyhave their eye on that necklace.
The author, once again, reels youin with these characters and the mystery. The ship was full of thieves andliars, and some even harbored thoughts of…murder. By the third day of thecruise, a man had gone overboard and Lady Em had been murdered. The questionwas: who did it?
The hunt was on for The Man withOne Thousand Faces—thief and murderer. But who was he?
Even though this cruise was only 6days, the reading journey was quite long, but it was surprisingly gripping. Ididn’t think I would get so into it, but I did.
A good mystery read!
