go slow or don’t go at all

I know I’m repetitive, but again a yoga practice. Again, a yoga instructor whom I adore.

Go slow or don’t go at all.

I might be on a streak of going a wee bit fast.

Or maybe I’m not, but I think however fast I’m going is still too fast.

Because I’m forgetting things. Making mistakes. Messing stuff up.

There is a lot going on right now. A lot of changes. A lot of hard conversations. A lot of deep work.

I must admit that takes up more energy that I realize or imagine.

The good news is that I can keep going.

The less good news is that I can keep going, and I don’t always notice I’m doing it.

Some are complaining that I’m going too slow (even as it may be too fast), or at least not as fast as I used to. And they miss it.

But I’m quite down with ‘go slow or don’t go at all.’

I’m quite down for sitting. And feeling. And chilling. And being.

And sitting some more.

That’s all I have to say.
