Blog Day 3

Wow, after spending all weak getting my book up and running I finally got around to doing so writing work! I mean, it is only editing but it has to be done lol ! I find it quite an interesting process, if occassionally depressing/tedious, because it's the first time that you can pull your head out of the water and have a look at what you have created. In this case it's monster compared to my first novel - it must be twice the size! This of course means more editing lol . Still, in some way it's a good deal less satisfying than writing, because you're no longer creating anything :/ . It's a bit like when you have just taken a long voyage, seeing all sorts of things and being on many adventures, but now you're back home and have only the photographs on your camera and are having to enguage in digitally cutting out all the grinning idiots who didn't realise that you were trying to make magical memories! Absolutely essential work, quite fun at times, but nothing when compared to the joy of the creating experience!
