Back with your Monday Motivation!
Hello, Write Edge readers! I’m back after an unintended hiatus. Nothing bad, thank goodness! Just a break brought on by attending Novel Bookcamp in Wisconsin in late June and then coming back to my many writing responsibilities and non-writing ones as well. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks catching up but also going deep into promotions for The Witch’s Apprentice and Other Stories. Exciting news coming on the book in the next week or two, by the way! I’m just waiting on confirmation of one thing, and then I can share.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share this article I read today. There are so many good tips here for writers, although I think it’s applicable to any creative person. If you’ve hit a wall or feel like you’re at the edge of inspiration, this piece might help.
When Writing Feels Impossible, Here’s What Actually Helps
One thing that hasn’t stopped for me (when has it ever, actually?) is reading. This Wednesday I’ll share my latest book review with you. Want to know what book I #amreading? Find out in tomorrow’s #bookreviewpreview on Instagram, then read the review in the middle of the week on The Write Edge Bookshelf!
Instagram will continue to feature large in my online presence this week, including what I hope is that fun surprise about the new book. In the meantime, you can pre-order it now for your Kindle or get your own paperback copy! Don’t forget to add it to your TBR on Goodreads too!
Oh, and if you’re looking for some writing advice on how to create an elevator pitch for your book, check me out on The Write Atmosphere, Atmosphere Press’s new writing podcast!
Have a great day and week, readers!
