Organizational Values

The value-based management enhances guidance, improves business effectiveness and performance, achieves collective advantage, and multi-layer ROIs.

Corporate value is multifaceted nowadays, as the value of the firm goes beyond economic value or shareholder value, to include other forms of value such as employee value, customer value, alliance partner value, managerial value, and societal value etc.

The "real world value" can be understood differently based on the type of value being discussed.

Here are a few types of value and their real-world implications:

Asset Value: In financial terms, asset value is crucial for determining a company’s total worth. It can be measured in several ways, including historical cost, current replacement value, or fair market value. The economic value of an asset is the maximum price a company would pay, based on expected future cash inflows.

Currency Value: The value of a country’s currency is determined by supply and demand in the global market. Factors that affect the demand for a currency include inflation, interest rates, and trade balance. A currency's value impacts international trade and investment.

-Social Capital to generate social value: Social capital involves the ability of individuals to gain benefits through social networks, trust, and social participation. High social capital can lead to improved employment, academic performance, health, economic growth, and create social value.

Environmental Value: Economists use various techniques to determine the value of environmental goods to society. Such as the revealed preferences method. This involves observing consumer behavior in related markets to infer the value of environmental quality. Examples include the household production approach and the hedonic approach. Take the contingent valuation method. This directly asks people about their values for a particular environmental good, useful for assessing values for goods not directly experienced.

The value-based management enhances guidance, improves business effectiveness and performance, achieves collective advantage, and multi-layer ROIs. The true value of an employee is demonstrated when the employee brings the advanced mindset, knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attitude that translates into expected performance outcomes.
