On the Trail
But if we can refine the purpose of the journey that we take, we’ll find our way back on the trail.

where you used to be,
Memories linger,
but you’re just a memory to me.
Words left unspoken,
thoughts drift apart,
In the silent surroundings,
I can feel things won’t be the same.
Oh, life experience,
you’ve woven the thread for -
who we'll truly be.
Tangled in the moments,
we left unsaid.
Once we met,
now we’re worlds away,
In the space between past and present,
True understanding bridges-
the differences of ages.
We used to laugh under the moonlit sky,
Now we listen to the echoes,
wondering why.
History faded,
like whispers in the night.
Searching for the spark,
that used to shine so bright.
Time slips through our fingers,
like a raindrop in the breeze flicks,
I reach for the path to freedom,
but there are so many detours,
making me feel stiffy...
Can we find our way back to the trail?
Or are those just memories,
fading in the span?
So here’s to the silence,
the distance we’ve made,
In the shadows of others' ignorance,
Our visions might fade.
But if we can refine-
the purpose of the journey that we take,
we’ll find our way back on the trail.
