THE FLOOD

Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when publishedSo I'm looking for the rainbow in the swirling sea of rainand I'm trying to find a reason to get up and try againbut I'm only finding sorrow in a raging flood of painand I don't know if I'm fit to stand the strain...there's a ocean's worth of heartache with a grain of sand of hopeand a tiny hand is clinging to the end of someone's ropewhere the mud and blood has buried it beneath a wave of copeand I don't know if a future's in my scope...but the sun in shining sideways through the raindrops in the airand tomorrow's creeping forward through the anguish and despair; when there's nothing left but do or die, all we can do is dareto cling to what is left of what we share;the memory of love beyond compare...the rainbow in a raindrop in the air Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when published
