Insightful Problem-Solving

Insight is the ability to perceive clearly or deeply penetration of situations by looking around the corner or seeing underneath.

Problem-solving today is complex. It becomes complex if things interact, particularly in the case of nonlinear interconnection and interactions. It's always important to understand the root cause of problems, rather than identifying symptoms only.

To understand the root causes of issues, consider the following approaches:

Consider Multiple Factors: Conditions other than a primary cause, perhaps, produce similar or identical symptoms. An affected subject may not be adapted to its environment, or damage might be caused by external factors or unfavorable conditions.

Systematic Examination: Begin with careful observation and classification of the facts. Evaluate the facts to make a logical decision as to the cause. A skilled diagnostician must know the normal appearance of the affected subject, its local environment, the conditions under which it is growing, and the potential causes described for the area.

Detailed Investigation: Examine specific parts for abnormalities. Note the color, size, shape, and margins of any irregularities. Look for signs of the issue, such as growths or other indicators.

Iterative Refinement: Since most models involve a variety of assumptions, these are checked systematically.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA): It is a systematic process used to identify the underlying causes of problems in order to implement effective solutions. Effective controls not only make possible but often lead to a better understanding of the dynamics of the system involved. Through controls, the problem-solving system learns from its own experience and adapts more effectively to changing conditions.

Problems are complex in the face of “VUCA” reality. Believe it or not, the same problem perhaps mean different things to different people because they perceive things differently. Insight is the ability to perceive clearly or deeply penetration of situations by looking around the corner or seeing underneath. By leveraging the analysis and practices above, we can handle the problem more effectively.
