Dumb Phone Revolution

why is the phone market so out of touch with what people want? It seems that about 50% of people want a smartphone and about 50%. want a dumb phone like a blackberry, T-Mobile sidekick, etc

My prediction in the next 5 years is that there will be a dumb phone revolution where the market will split into three categories, smartphones, dumb phones and brain computer interfaces I.E neuralink.

T-Mobile and other carriers could really capitalize on selling 5G or 6G T-Mobile sidekick phones again.
