One of my favorites from the art I created for the Seaborn Tabletop RPG. I started it in 2020, sort of a pandemic project that I knew would take a lot of time. I never released it, but I did create a bunch of art, and I wrote and tested an entire d20-based RPG that sits somewhere between D&D5e and PbtA. It uses a d20 roll + mod with a challenge “move” that gave a ternary outcome, statistically very close to the 2d6 roll, but you get to continue to use your beloved d20. I will release the book at some point. I think it’s pretty good. I even coded a dice roll simulator with different mods for automating hundreds of different scenarios, mostly to test combat with different numbers of players and foes.
