Mythomania, or compulsive lying, is more than a bad habit.
It’s a behavioral disorder, where the person lies constantly — even when they have nothing to gain — until the line between truth and fiction dissolves.
It’s often rooted in:
• A deep need for validation,
• An intense fear of rejection,
• Or a powerful complex of inferiority.
These lies become shields, performances, acts of control.
And sometimes, they become weapons.
