Writing is an Art Form

Hello all,

So, my topic today is the comfort and peace that come from writing. Growing up, I was never good at drawing or painting, but I always wanted to. I often watched painters like Bob Ross and would find peace in his art. In a lot of ways, writing is like painting a scenic piece. You create this world in your stories that nobody can duplicate. There are characters that you can build relationships with. If these characters should die in your story, you feel a sense of grief. But I also feel that if you experience joy, happiness, humor, and sadness while writing those stories, then that will resonate with the reader as well. So even though I may not be able to paint or draw, I can still create my own world that I can transfer from my mind onto a printed page. And that is why writing is such an art form.
