After completing her Pais apprenticeship in Canada, Letitia returned to Germany and continued applying what she had learned to her personal and ministry life. Her passion for the Pais vision led her to intern at the Global Headquarters, deepening her involvement. Now, Letitia supports the development of Pais in the DACH-region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Read her full interview to discover what excites her about serving with Pais and how you, as an alum, can also stay involved.

Letitia, tell us a little bit about your background and how your apprenticeship with Pais has impacted you?

I came to faith through a missions team at 14, so youth and mission work have always been close to my heart. That’s why I’m so thankful for the opportunity to do a Pais apprenticeship—it gave me tools and helped shape who I am today. Through the apprenticeship, I learned to follow Jesus in a tangible way, ask better questions, and study scripture using Haverim. It didn’t just grow my faith—it equipped me to impact others and recognize God’s work in my community, schools, and beyond.

Why have you chosen to reconnect with Pais after your apprenticeship and how are you personally supporting the ministry?

I had the time and opportunity and wanted to deepen my understanding of how Pais operates—not just the methods, but the structure and purpose behind them. I also hoped to contribute meaningfully to the movement. Now, I’m part of the DACH team, supporting communication efforts and helping build systems to connect with churches and manage social media regularly.

How can other alumni get involved?

Whether you served locally or abroad, your journey with Pais doesn’t have to end after your apprenticeship. Staying involved—through volunteering, practical support, or giving—helps the movement grow, as seen in Germany where all current team members are former apprentices.

Seeking God’s Kingdom doesn’t stop after your twenties or apprenticeship. Pais’ work continues, and so can your involvement.
Let’s keep building together!
