I'm so happy to welcome Reggi Allder to Wicked Wednesday on Discover... Apple pie is one of my favorites and a wickedly good one is worth the baking (I'm not into cooking but for this one I'll make the effort).

I’m excited to be here on Wicked Wednesday. I have adevilishly delicious apple pie recipe for you.

But first, ever wonder why there are so many scary booksand movies? With those choices, why read romantic suspense? Well, nothing takesreader into the depth of the characters like a book. The romantic suspensegives more than one point of view, so the reader can see danger when the heroesin the book do not. The reader can yell, “Stop. Watch out! Don’t go in there!”

Villains are wicked, but they believe right is on theirside because they were mistreated in some way. Their belief gives them theright to do whatever is needed to fix their perceived wrong. The bad guys or galsshould be intelligent, but ruthless. They are people to be reckoned with, andfear-inducing. There is a possibility the villain may win and all will be lost,but the reader can experience the threat and excitement from a place of safety.

As a teen, I discovered romantic suspense novels in thebasement of a friend’s house. They had shelves filled with classic romanticsuspense books. It was obvious the books had been read and then placed therefor safekeeping. I was allowed to choose several. I took them home and quicklyread them. When I decided to write, those novels set me on the road to my firstbook, Shattered Rules. 😊

I’ve finished writing book four in the Dangerous Series,Dangerous Moves. It is available. The fifth book is in the works,Dangerous Sisters, it moves on with the characters from DangerousMoney.
