Okay, let’s get one thing out of the way: I have a lot of work-in-progress stories.
Like… a lot.
My Google Drive looks like a mildly possessed library, and I’m probably one impulsive caffeine binge away from writing another 20k words on a project I forgot existed. But Brains, Bats, and a Badass? This book took over my creative brain and REFUSED to let go.
And honestly? I’m so freaking glad it did.

Out of all the books I’ve published (and bestie, there are a lot—thank you Kindle Unlimited gremlins for binge-reading them all), this one felt different.
It’s one of my most ambitious projects, and it started as a joke. A "What if a girl was immune to zombies and they started treating her like their queen?" kind of joke. Then I added four men, a rivalry, a zombie army, and somehow a baby (don’t worry, that’s not until later), and suddenly this book was 100k words of absolute emotional, romantic, bloody chaos.
But it’s more than that.
It’s about found family. About women who take up space, who lead, who don’t shrink down when the world tells them to. It’s about love—messy, violent, ridiculous love—in a world that’s falling apart. And it’s about surviving in your own way, bat in hand, sarcasm on lock.
