When The Bell Tower Suite first appeared as a short story in What on Earth, I had no idea how many readers would reach out asking for more. The story struck a chord, but many felt it ended too soon. That’s why I went back, listened to those reviews, and gave the tale the expansion—and darkness—it deserved.
