Life Updates, Author Q and A and the irritants with book marketing!
I recently got a copy of my book in my hands and did a video on it here!
I posted it to my X, Facebook page, personal, Bluesky, Threads and my discord and friends.
I got the best news ever Sunday I got accepted in the Tiktok Creator rewards program, which is exciting since it means I can get paid for videos over a minute long.
Exciting, not to mention my book is going to be narrated by my friend Malizma and I gave my AngelWitch series to beta readers too. Life has been stressful lately but recently one burden is lifted off. I got the Oblivion Remastered to stream, To Pixelia, and even Little Sim world. Trying to find a balance is tough though and there are times it is more difficult then others. Promoting my book has been a pain in the rear though since my posts for my novels are attracting book promoters and fake authors. I’m literally tired of these scammers at this point it makes it even harder to promote my books. And especially in the book groups you can tell they are fake book marketers by the stupid way they say stuff posts like these watch out for!

Cover alerts, drop your book links, etc make it difficult. I think I’m going to just post some stuff on my page so they can leave me alone.
Author facts: I write paranormal romance, published 29 books, I can already create a mock up, book trailer, and I market with social media. So tired of being bothered by them it’s like they think us authors are rich with no friends. They make it difficult omg. Like yes it is on amazon!

Me: It’s annoying being asked the same questions over and over again especially since you haven’t read my book
FA:Thank you for the honesty. I can only imagine how exhausting it must feel to be constantly approached without people truly engaging with your work. You deserve better than that, and I’m sorry for contributing to that noise. I’ll take a step back, read your book with care, and listen to what you’ve already poured onto the page. No more questions for now, just genuine interest, on my part, in understanding what you’ve created.

Fake author: I completely get that. Your work deserves to be seen for its own merit, not as an invitation for people to push services. I reached out simply because your book caught my eye, and I respect the courage it takes to put your words out there. No expectations…. just admiration, really.

Also turned X premium, got Canva pro and I just want to relax on my weekends. I’ll let you all know when the audiobook is out and when I republish the AngelWitch series. I plan on doing more streams on Twitch, Youtube videos and Tiktok been more focused on my content creator stuff then my books.
