The Power of a Seed

According to a study at the University of Richmond, we have squirrels to thank for millions of trees.

This fun fact led me to ponder the power of a seed. Did you know that every seed dies to live? The outer shell, called the seed coat, breaks open during germination so the inner embryo can grow into a seedling. In the case of an acorn, the developing root pushes out of the seed and will grow into a beautiful oak tree.

This seems to be a theme in the Kingdom: "We must die to live."
